Inspired by a dogs’ sensory garden at a national flower show SARA thought it would be a brilliant idea and be ideal for the dogs at our sanctuary.
A derelict piece of land has been transformed into a garden full of exciting zones for the dogs to roam freely, under supervision.
A central pebble path runs through a free flowing water spray and a grasses garden provides soft textures. There is a rockery, also a log area and an arbour providing shade for resting or grooming. Raised beds house a profusion of relaxing aromas with herbs to calm animals.
It is an exciting addition to the Sanctuary facilities and has been funded by friends and supporters of SARA.
