Maggie-Sue is a six year old cat who came to us as a handover. Maggie-Sue is a very friendly cat who enjoys a good fuss from our cat cuddler volunteers and staff. We are looking for a home where she will have access to the outdoors and would be the only pet in the household. Maggie has been quiet in the cattery and seems a bit low at the moment, we hope she will find a loving home soon as she is a wonderful girl.
Vince is an eight year old Pug and his best friend Jimmy is a French Bulldog aged seven years. This cheeky looking duo came to the centre as a handover. Vince and Jimmy have been together all their lives and therefore we are looking for a home where they can go together. They love nothing more than an afternoon nap together in their shared dog bed 🙂 Both boys love cuddles and are a joy to walk, they get on really well with all our other dogs here at the centre. Vince and Jimmy could live with another female dog, they have not been around small animals.
Tilly is a three year old who came to us as a handover. Tilly is a super affectionate cat and loves to sit on your lap for as long as she can. As Tilly wasn’t getting on with the cat in her previous home we feel she would be best suited as an only pet. We know that she will make a wonderful companion animal or fit in well as a family pet. We hope that she will find her forever home very soon as Tilly is another cat in our care that doesn’t cope so well in a cattery environment.
Rosie is a 9 month old kitten who came to S.A.R.A. as a handover. Rosie is a very friendly little girl who loves nothing more than to get onto your lap for cuddles. We are looking for a home where Rosie will have access to the outdoors. We feel she could potentially live with another cat as she did so in her previous home. This young girl is not a great fan of living in a cat pen and can find it stressful at times, she makes herself known when you walk in to the cattery area as shes desperate for attention.
Diva is a four year old x-racing Greyhound (blue Greyhound in the photo, far left). Diva is a gorgeous girl with a lovely nature and has been great with all our other dogs, she especially likes the Greyhounds we have at the centre. Diva cannot live with cats or small animals but could live with another dog similar in size and temperament. We feel she will flourish in a home, at four years of age Diva has never experienced being in a home with a family to call her own, we can’t wait for her to experience this!
Macy Grey is a 16 month old x-racing Greyhound (Macy is the black Greyhound in the photo) Macy came into our care as she did not want to race and it was decided she would be better suited in a home. Since arriving she has met all types of breeds of dogs here and has got on well with them all. This stunning girl has bags of potential! We are looking for a home where Macy can get the training she needs and like most dogs we have plenty of exercise. Macy could potentially live with another dog.
Tallulah is a one year old Shih Tzu cross who came to S.A.R.A. as a handover. Tallulah is a very friendly girl with boundless energy. This little lady is looking for a home where she will get plenty of exercise, training and will need regular trips to the dog groomers. We feel that she would be well suited to a household with another dog/s. Tallulah is a very intelligent dog with a great amount of potential.
Popeye is a six year old Jack Russell who came to us as a stray. Popeye is a cheeky little chap who has befriended most of the dogs here at S.A.R.A. and enjoys the company of all the volunteers. Popeye is blind in one eye but this sure doesn’t stop him enjoying life to the full. We are looking for a home where Popeye can get plenty of walks and we feel he could possibly live with another dog.
Elsie is a six year old Patterdale who came to S.A.R.A. as a stray. Elsie is a wonderful dog with lots of character and loves everyone she meets whether is the volunteers or resident dogs. Elsie is a wonderful and calm natured dog who takes everything in her stride. We are looking for a home that can give her plenty of exercise and we feel she could probably love with another dog.
Lenny is a two year old male Lurcher who came into us after his owner could no longer give him the care he needed. Lenny is a lovely dog with bundles of energy and he loves nothing more than to play in the pen with the volunteers and his friends. This young man is super affectionate and adores being cuddled and loved. Lenny is looking for an experienced owner/s who will carry on his training. Lenny could potentially live with another female.
