Kiki is a beautiful 5yrs old Bengal cross who came to S.A.R.A. as she wasn’t getting along with the other cat in the house. Kiki is a very loving cat with a strong personality and would be best homed with an experienced Bengal owner. Kiki is looking for a home as an only pet and as an indoor cat. Kiki enjoys playing with her toys and spending time curled up in her warm bed. RESERVED.
Milo is a very sweet, 8yr old, Terrier cross who came to S.A.R.A. following a change in his owners circumstances. Milo is a great little dog who walks well alongside our other dogs at the centre. However, we feel Milo would be better homed as an only pet as this is what he has been used to. Milo is an active dog and would enjoy long walks. He could potentially live with older children. RESERVED.
Tara is a gorgeous little 13 year old terrier mix who came to S.A.R.A. through no fault of her own. Tara is so sweet. She enjoys going for short walks and spending time in the cabin having a cuddle with our volunteers. Tara is looking for a relaxed, quiet home where she can get all the attention she deserves. Tara would like to be able to go for a play in the garden and for walks as she is still quite an active little lady.
Rosie arrived at Saltburn Animal Rescue Association at the end of November 2015 as a stray at only five years old. At first glance, Rosie was absolutely skeletal and her coat was in poor condition. Once we had had a look at her, it was obvious that she was extremely dehydrated and her gums were white! We rushed her to the vets where she immediately drank five bowls of water and was placed on a drip. She was in such poor condition that she had become diabetic! She has been as good as gold the entire time. The vets are still confident she will go in to remission from her diabetes. Rosie has insulin injections after her meals which are 12hrs apart. She will actually finish her dinner and come over for her injection! In the last 13 months, I have got to know Rosie so well and to see how far she has come is amazing. Even more amazing is how she has taken it all in her stride. Rosie enjoys her walks with the other dogs and playing with squeaky toys but her favourite thing, I think, is having her tummy tickled. She will lie down on the grass for a tickle and I am sure she would lay there for hours if she could. There isn’t a single day where Rosie doesn’t make me smile. She is a truly spectacular dog and really deserves an amazing home of her own.
Rolo is a lovely staffy cross who came to S.A.R.A. following a change in his owners circumstances. On arrival, he had a chronic ear infection and suffered with his skin. Having spent almost a year in kennels, Rolo finally found the perfect home!! Rolo still has ongoing issues with his skin and ears which are controlled with medication.
