Ceaser

Ceaser is an extremely handsome x-breed male who was tied to the fence one night and abandoned. Since then his amazingly sweet and gentle temperament has shone through, making him a firm favourite among staff. Ceaser is only young at about 2/3 yrs old, and as such he is very energetic and playful, particularly when he is brought into the house at the centre to babysit the puppies. As one of the popular dogs at the centre he gets plenty of attention and training, and enjoys walking with his best dog pals ‘Alfie’ and ‘Finch’. Ceasar is so well behaved that volunteers often take him out for a run on the beach and then take him home for a nap on the sofa.
Rosie
Rosie is a 6month old x-breed gorgeous girlie who came into the centre after her owner became too ill to care for her. She is full of beans all the time and would be best suited to a active family who can keep up with her! She loves playing with her dog pals at SARA and would happily live with another dog or two. Rosie is a typical terrier, a bundle of fun and full of mischief, in the best possible way!
Roger
Roger is a x-breed loveable rogue who was brought into SARA after being traumatised at the hands of humans. He is only 6 months old and has bounced back very quickly from his past thankfully, and is now ready for a home with as much character as he has! Although he can be a little scared at times he is usually full of beans and loves playing all day. Roger walks well with his doggy pals at SARA and will benefit greatly from going to puppy training classes so his confidence can continue to grow.
Lola
Lola is a very sweet x-breed girl who is approximately one year old. Unfortunately Lola hasn't had a great start in life and can be a little nervous around strangers. She behaves like a collie and loves nothing more than to play with her ball and has lots and lots of energy for walking and playing. Lola will make a fantastic companion for the right owner, her confidence is growing everyday and she will make a very loyal friend for someone willing to give her a bit of TLC.
Arthur
Arthur is a 17 year old, big black handsome boy. When he came to us he was in a dreadful state and had to have lots of his teeth removed. He is now recovered and very happy in his home. He is a very chilled out gentleman and has made friends with all the other cats he lives with. He is living out his twilight years being very loved and spoilt with prawns and cooked ham.
February Events
The next monthly meeting of SARA will be held in the TocH premises, Albion Terrace, Saltburn on Wednesday 1st February at 7.30pm. New members are very welcome. Come along and learn more about the group.
25th February 2012 – Members of SARA will be holding a table top sale on Saturday 25th February, in the community Centre, Saltburn from 10am to 4pm. Refreshments will also be on sale.
Sooty
Sooty is 3 ½ years old blue grey male. He is very friendly but calm and quiet. He is ok with other cats but prefers to be a loner. He likes being cuddled.
Billy
This is Billy he is approximately 3 years and a Staffie Cross. He is very friendly and loves his walks.
Shane
This is Shane. He is approximately 8 - 12 months old. He was found as a stray but he is very friendly and is good with other dogs.
Treacle
This is Treacle he is approximately 2 years old, a dark tabby. He was brought into us after living rough for a few weeks. He is very friendly and likes to be fussed. Treacle has a long standing injury to his leg which is fine but he will need to be an indoor cat so as not to aggravate it.
Gypsy
This is Gypsy, she is approximately 18 weeks old. She is very friendly and extremely affectionate. She is also very talkative and loves being with people. She is fine with other cats.
Tiny
This is Tiny. She is approximately 2 years old. She is an ex CORUS cat and is looking for a loving in-door home. She is timid but friendly and doesn’t mind being handled.
