At Saltburn Animal Rescue Association (SARA), we understand how important it is to respect your privacy and protect your personal information.  This Policy explains how we collect personal information about you when you visit our website, how we process your information and for what purpose.  It also explains how we keep your information secure and times when it may be disclosed to others.

We keep this Policy under review and it may change occasionally.  To review any changes please access the Policy through our website.  By using our website, you are agreeing to the terms of this Policy.

WHO WE ARE

We are Saltburn Animal Rescue Association, a charity committed to saving and rehoming animals in the Cleveland area.  Our registered charity number is 1051037 and our address is Foxrush Farm, Kirkleatham Lane, Redcar, TS10 5NJ.

YOUR INFORMATION – HOW WE COLLECT IT AND WHAT IT IS USED FOR

When you use our website we obtain information about you.  Each time you access our website we obtain your IP address.  We do not use this to obtain any other personal information about you nor is it used for any purpose but to monitor your use of our website.  We will only disclose this information if it is required as part of any criminal investigation.

Depending how you use our website we may also obtain other details about you such as your name, address, email address , date of birth and gift aid status.  This may be obtained if, for example, you donate, sponsor an animal, make a purchase or arrange fundraising through our website. If you provide your credit or debit card details when making a donation online or purchase on our website we do not hold this information, it is collected securely by our third party payment processors.  The payments are processed through Charity Choice who use a company called Worldpay.  They use secure servers and all credit or debit card details provided are encrypted.  Further details about Charity Choice can be found on their website at www.charitychoice.co.uk.

As is the case with all organisations we must respond to and comply with any requests for information that is required by law and in such circumstances we do have to disclose any information that may be requested.

We may also obtain feedback from you on occasions and from time to time analyse some of the information you have provided so that we are able to tailor the information and services that we share with you.  It also helps us to monitor any changes to the way we deliver our services.

You have a choice as to whether you wish to receive information from us.

If you have given us permission to do so we may email you occasionally with information about our charity and to provide updates regarding any fundraising or other campaigns we are running.  This could be by post, email, telephone or text message depending on your chosen preferences.
